Human Resources Generalist

Wellversed is hiring for a Wellversed is hiring for a HR Generalist to work full-time out of our office premises in Gurgaon. We require the People Operations professional to have a strong understanding of payroll operations, employee lifecycle management, HR compliance, documentation, and employee support functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll inputs including attendance, leaves, incentives, deductions, and arrears.
• Handle onboarding, employee documentation, HRMS management, and background verification.
• Coordinate performance review cycles, confirmations, increments, and promotions.
• Manage employee exits, clearances, full-and-final settlements, and exit documentation.
• Maintain HR policies, compliance records, SOPs, and statutory documentation.
• Resolve employee queries and grievances within defined timelines.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Generalist, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of payroll inputs, employee lifecycle management, and HR documentation.
• Working knowledge of statutory compliance including EPF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and employment regulations.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP, IMPORTRANGE, Pivot Tables, and data reconciliation.
• Experience using HRMS and payroll software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential employee information.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while adhering to timelines and compliance requirements.
