HR Generalist – The Wellness Shop (Urbaine Consumer India Pvt. Ltd.)

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

CTC: ₹3–4 LPA

About Us

The Wellness Shop is a fast-growing D2C beauty and personal care brand offering herbal, skincare, and wellness products. We are looking for a hands-on HR Generalist who can own the complete HR lifecycle — from hiring to exit — at our Jaipur office.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Selection

  • End-to-end hiring: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, offer rollout
  • Post jobs on Naukri, LinkedIn, Apna, Indeed; manage candidate pipeline
  • Maintain recruitment tracker and coordinate with department heads

Pre-Joining & Onboarding

  • Collect pre-joining documents (educational certificates, ID proof, PAN, Aadhaar, bank details)
  • Create employee profile on GreytHR before Day 1
  • Prepare appointment letter, NDA, and policy acknowledgement documents
  • Conduct Day 1 induction: company overview, policy walkthrough, team introduction
  • Ensure email ID, system access, ID card, and workspace are ready before joining

GreytHR Administration

  • Add and manage employee master data on GreytHR
  • Manage attendance, leaves, shifts, regularisations, and holiday calendar
  • Process monthly attendance inputs and coordinate payroll with accounts team
  • Generate payslips, salary registers, and statutory reports via GreytHR
  • Handle employee queries related to payslips, leave balance, and attendance

Payroll & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly payroll input sheet (attendance, new joinings, exits, deductions)
  • Coordinate PF, ESIC, PT, and TDS compliance with CA/accounts team
  • Ensure PF/ESIC registration for all new employees
  • Maintain salary revision records and increment letters

HR Documentation & Letters

  • Draft and issue appointment, confirmation, increment, warning, show cause, and termination letters
  • Maintain employee files — physical and digital — with complete documentation
  • Track probation periods and issue confirmation letters on time
  • Implement and communicate HR policies across the team

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Plan engagement activities, birthday and work anniversary celebrations
  • Address employee grievances promptly and professionally
  • Handle disciplinary cases with proper documentation (warning → show cause → action)

Performance Management

  • Support appraisal cycles: share forms, collect ratings, compile data
  • Coordinate KRA setting with department heads
  • Maintain performance records and flag patterns of underperformance

Exit Management & Full & Final Settlement

  • Process resignations; share acceptance and last working day communication
  • Conduct and document exit interviews
  • Initiate NOC/clearance from all departments (IT, admin, accounts, manager)
  • Prepare F&F settlement statement covering pending salary, leave encashment, deductions, and recovery
  • Ensure non-disparagement clause and settlement form are signed before relieving
  • Issue relieving letter and experience letter within committed timelines
  • Update GreytHR: mark employee as separated, archive profile
  • Maintain exit data for attrition analysis and monthly HR MIS

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in HR or Business Administration
  • 2–4 years of end-to-end HR Generalist experience
  • Mandatory: Hands-on working knowledge of GreytHR
  • Sound understanding of PF, ESIC, PT, and basic labour law
  • Excellent communication in English and Hindi
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
  • High attention to detail; ability to handle confidential information

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in D2C, FMCG, or retail/manufacturing
  • Exposure to Glassdoor / AmbitionBox employer review management
