Location: Mumbai
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with strong exposure to the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Recruitment and Performance Management Systems (PMS) and should possess a solid understanding of core HR functions. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition- End-to-end recruitment for all levels, especially operational and leadership roles within the logistics/FF domain.
- Sourcing, screening, conducting interviews, and coordinating final selections.
- Managing job postings, recruitment portals, agencies, and databases.
- Ensuring timely onboarding and documentation of new hires.
2. Performance Management (PMS)- Implementing and managing the PMS cycle across departments.
- Coordinating goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
- Supporting managers in performance discussions and development planning.
3. HR Operations- Managing employee life cycle processes (onboarding to exit).
- Supporting payroll inputs, attendance management, and leave administration.
- Handling employee queries and ensuring smooth HR operations.
4. Employee Relations- Addressing employee issues and grievances in a timely manner.
- Driving employee engagement initiatives and maintaining a positive workplace environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
5. Learning & Development- Identifying training needs and coordinating internal/external training programs.
- Supporting skill development initiatives aligned with business goals.
6. HR Compliance & Documentation- Maintaining employee records, HRMS entries, and compliance documentation.
- Ensuring adherence to labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
Key Skills Required- Mandatory: Recruitment & PMS experience
- Strong understanding of HR functions (ER, HR operations, engagement, policies)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced logistics environment
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualification- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- HR certifications would be an added advantage
