Job Description

Position: Human Resources Generalist

Department: Human Resources

Location: Thane, Maharashtra (Candidates residing in or near Thane preferred)

Reporting To: Human Resources Head

Salary: Based on Experience and Merit

Education: Post-graduate in HR or Business Administration

Work Experience: 5-8 years of HRBP or generalists experience, preferably in education sector.

Key Role & Responsibility:

Implement HR engagement and retention plans across schools

  • Design and roll out monthly engagement calendars, team building activities, and recognition programs to enhance morale and retention across all branches.

Coordinate employee wellness programs and recognition initiatives

  • Manage wellness events, health check-ups and mental well-being initiatives while driving quarterly recognition programs for top-performing employees.

Maintain HR data dashboard on attendance, engagement, and retention

  • Consolidate and analyze data from HRMS and school-level reports to generate actionable insights on attrition, absenteeism, and satisfaction trends.

Conduct exit interviews and report attrition analytics (liaison with Employee Relations Officer (present in future roles) to address and record grievances).

  • Identify key causes of attrition, prepare quarterly trend reports, and recommend interventions to improve employee retention.

Coordinate performance management activities and policy implementation

  • Support planning, communication, and orientation training for the Performance Management System (PMS) and rollout of new HR policies.

Facilitate onboarding and induction processes for new employees

  • Coordinate induction sessions across locations, ensuring every new hire receives timely orientation on organizational values, policies, and systems.

Drive communication and alignment of HR initiatives across departments

  • Act as a liaison between corporate HR and school-level teams to ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of people policies.
