About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on and dependable HR Generalist with 2–4 years of relevant HR experience to manage and support the day-to-day HR operations of our growing company.
This role is suited to someone who already understands core HR processes and can work independently with limited supervision. The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling employee administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding, payroll inputs, leave management, employee relations, and HR documentation in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day HR administration and employee lifecycle activities.
* Coordinate recruitment activities, including job postings, CV screening, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer preparation.
* Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, salary certificates, and other HR documents.
* Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR system data.
* Track probation periods, contract renewals, leave balances, attendance, and other employee-related deadlines.
* Prepare and verify HR inputs required for monthly payroll.
* Respond to employee HR queries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
* Support managers with probation reviews, performance reviews, and employee documentation.
* Assist with employee relations matters and escalate more complex issues when required.
* Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, templates, and employee handbooks.
* Coordinate employee engagement activities, internal communications, and company events.
* Support training and development initiatives.
* Prepare basic HR reports and employee data for management.
* Ensure HR documentation and processes are aligned with applicable labor laws and company policies.
* Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and administrative efficiency.
* Support additional HR and operational requirements as the company grows.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
* 2–4 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a startup, SME, or fast-paced organization.
* Practical experience in HR administration, onboarding, employee records, recruitment, leave management, and payroll coordination.
* Good understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR documentation.
* Ability to independently manage routine HR matters without extensive supervision or training.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
* Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may change.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or HR systems.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a company with approximately 20–100 employees.
* Previous startup or SME experience.
* Experience coordinating payroll and employee benefits.
* Familiarity with local labor laws and employment regulations.
* Experience using HRIS, payroll, attendance, or recruitment systems.
* HR certification or professional HR training is an advantage.
