Role Overview

We are looking for a driven, hands-on HR Generalist to manage the full spectrum of human resources functions across our corporate headquarters in Malad West and our manufacturing plant in Tarapur. This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-growing, SME environment and brings both corporate HR finesse and factory HR sensibility.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

•     Manage end-to-end hiring across corporate and plant roles — sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, offer management, and onboarding

•     Build and maintain a pipeline of candidates for both white-collar (HO) and blue-collar (plant) requirements

•     Liaise with department heads to understand manpower needs and create precise job descriptions

Compensation & Benefits

•     Support payroll processing, salary structuring, and compensation benchmarking

•     Manage statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, and PT

•     Administer leave management, attendance, and full & final settlement processes

HR Policies & Compliance

•     Draft, update, and implement HR policies in line with organisational goals and legal requirements

•     Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws — Factories Act, Shops & Establishment Act, Contract Labour Act

•     Maintain up-to-date employee records and support internal and statutory audits

Plant HR Support (Tarapur, MIDC)

•     Make periodic visits to the Tarapur manufacturing plant for on-ground HR support and statutory compliance oversight

•     Handle workforce management, contractor compliance, and blue-collar relations at the plant level

•     Coordinate with plant heads on manpower planning, discipline, and welfare activities

Employee Relations & Engagement

•     Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance improvement processes

•     Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive workplace culture

•     Prepare and maintain HR MIS, reports, and dashboards for management review

Candidate Profile

Education

Graduate / MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent

Experience

2–5 years as an HR Generalist; manufacturing / factory background strongly preferred

Core Knowledge

Strong command over Recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, HR Policies, and Factory/Labour Law compliance

Mobility

Willing to travel periodically to Tarapur (MIDC) plant as required

Location

Residing in Western Suburbs of Mumbai — Borivali / Kandivali / Malad / Goregaon / Jogeshwari belt preferred

Languages

Proficient in English and Hindi / Marathi

Skills

Hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable in a lean SME environment with broad ownership
