Job Summary
Slate Studios is hiring an HR Executive to manage people operations within a creative production environment. The role involves recruitment, HR administration, employee engagement, and compliance management while supporting a structured and collaborative workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for creative, production, and support roles
- Coordinate freelance, contractual, and full-time hiring
- Handle onboarding and documentation for new hires
HR Operations
- Maintain employee and freelancer records
- Track attendance, leave records, and contracts
- Ensure smooth day-to-day HR processes
Employee Relations & Culture
- Act as a point of contact for employee queries
- Support initiatives that promote a professional and inclusive work environment
- Assist in team engagement activities
Payroll & Compliance
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the accounts team
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, etc.)
- Maintain HR documentation and support audits
Policies & Processes
- Implement and maintain HR policies aligned with studio operations
- Support performance review and feedback processes
- Ensure adherence to company policies and professional standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years of relevant HR experience (experience in media/creative industry preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Indian labor laws
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
