  • Job Description HR Executive

The HR professional will manage recruitment, payroll coordination, documentation, employee relations, and compliance specific to the construction industry. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to interact with site teams, office staff, and management.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Prepare job postings and hire for roles like engineers, supervisors, site staff, marketing, sales, and admin.
  • Source candidates using Naukri, Internshala, LinkedIn, and local hiring networks.
  • Conduct initial screenings, telephonic interviews, and schedule final rounds with management.
  • Maintain updated recruitment tracker and manpower planning sheet.
  • 2. Site-Level HR Coordination
  • Regular coordination with site supervisors for attendance, manpower status, and subcontractor staff details.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and ID verification for all site workers (including contract labour).
  • Maintain labour compliance data for different project locations.
  • 3. Documentation & Employee Records
  • Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, NDAs, and other HR documentation.
  • Maintain employee personnel files (both soft & hard copies).
  • Manage monthly attendance sheets, leave records, and payroll inputs.
  • 4. Payroll & Compliance
  • Share monthly salary inputs with accounts/finance.
  • Handle contractor billing verification from HR standpoint (attendance, wage sheet).
  • Monitor PF, ESI, minimum wages, labour licences, and statutory registers.
  • Ensure adherence to Shops & Establishment Act and Labour Welfare Fund norms.
  • 5. Onboarding & Induction
  • Conduct orientation for new employees and ensure smooth joining formalities.
  • Create onboarding checklists for site and office staff.
  • Issue ID cards, access permissions, and ensure proper documentation submission.
  • 6. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
  • Plan team-building activities, festive celebrations, and motivation programs.
  • Maintain employee satisfaction and handle grievances professionally.
  • Encourage a healthy and respectful workplace culture as per company values.
  • 7. Performance Management
  • Assist in setting KRAs/KPIs for staff and site teams.
  • Coordinate annual/quarterly performance reviews.
  • Support in employee training & skill development initiatives.
  • 8. HR Policies & Legal Compliance
  • Implement and update HR policies for Assurance Developers.
  • Ensure compliance with POSH Act (Sexual Harassment Policy).
  • Maintain statutory records, labour audits, and compliance documentation.
  • 9. Exit Management
  • Conduct exit interviews and record reasons for attrition.
  • Process resignation, NOC, full & final settlement, and relieving letters.
  • Skills Required
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping ability.
  • Knowledge of labour laws relevant to construction industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word), HRMS, and reporting.
  • Ability to multitask and work with site teams and management.
