Role overview
We're looking for a smart, polished HR Executive to manage day-to-day HR operations, drive employee engagement initiatives, and support end-to-end hiring. You'll be the go-to person for people-related matters, helping maintain a positive workplace and ensuring smooth HR processes for our 30-person team.
Key responsibilities
- Recruitment & onboarding: Source candidates, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, manage offer letters, and run structured onboarding for new hires (particularly for marketing, creative, and accounts roles).
- Employee engagement: Plan and execute engagement activities, internal events, team-building, recognition programs, and regular pulse checks.
- HR operations: Maintain employee records, attendance, leave management, payroll coordination with external providers, and statutory compliance assistance.
- Performance support: Assist with performance review cycles, goal tracking, and documentation of feedback.
- Employee relations: Act as first point of contact for employee queries, resolve routine issues, and escalate as needed.
- Culture & onboarding experience: Help shape and maintain agency culture; ensure a warm, structured onboarding experience.
What we're looking for
- 0–2 years of HR experience, ideally in a marketing/agency environment or small services firm.
- Smart, professional communication (written and spoken); presents well in person.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable working onsite in Andheri and in a small-team, fast-moving agency setup.
- Proactive, people-first attitude with empathy and good interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with recruitment tools, LinkedIn hiring, Google Workspace; basic Excel skills.
- Knowledge of attendance, leave processes and basic labour compliance is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Commerce, or related field.
