Role Overview
The HR Executive will manage end-to-end HR operations with a *strong focus on statutory compliance, labour laws, payroll governance, and policy implementation*.
This role is critical to ensure the organization is *legally compliant, audit-ready, and operationally disciplined*.
Key Responsibilities
1 Statutory & Legal Compliance
* Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws:
Shops & Establishment Act
PF, ESI, PT, LWF
Payment of Wages, Minimum Wages
Bonus Act, Gratuity Act
Maternity Benefit Act
* Handle PF & ESI registrations, filings, inspections, and audits
* Coordinate with labour officers, government authorities & consultants
* Maintain statutory registers, returns & records
* Track compliance calendars ensure *zero default / penalties*
* Manage contract labour compliance (if applicable)
2 Payroll & HR Operations
* Oversee monthly payroll with accuracy & timelines
* Validate payroll inputs and statutory deductions
* Coordinate with Finance for payroll accounting & statutory payments
* Manage F&F settlements, gratuity & bonus payouts
* Maintain employee records, HRMIS & compliance files
3 Policy Design & Governance
* Draft / review / update:
HR Policies & SOPs
Employee Handbook
Code of Conduct
Disciplinary & Grievance Policies
* Ensure policies are *legally compliant & practically implementable*
* Drive policy awareness across teams
4 Employee Lifecycle Management
* Oversee onboarding & documentation compliance
* Manage confirmations, increments, role changes & exits
* Handle grievances & disciplinary proceedings
* Guide managers on employee relations & labour law matters
5 Audits & Risk Management
* Prepare for internal, statutory & third-party audits
* Identify compliance gaps & drive corrective actions
* Ensure HR processes are audit-proof & documented
* Maintain strict confidentiality & data integrity
6 HR Strategy Support
* Act as a compliance advisor to leadership
* Support scaling with compliant HR structures
* Assist in manpower planning & org hygiene
Required Skills
* Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws
* Hands-on experience with PF, ESI, payroll & audits
* Excellent documentation & attention to detail
* Ability to work independently with ownership
* Strong coordination with Finance, Legal & consultants
* High integrity & compliance-first mindset
Qualifications
* MBA / MSW in HR or equivalent
