Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Compliance professional to manage end-to-end statutory and regulatory compliance for our warehouses and logistics operations across India. The individual will be responsible for all registrations, renewals, audits, and adherence to labor laws and statutory requirements across 50+ warehouse locations.
The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and experience handling large-scale distributed workforce operations in logistics or warehousing environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Statutory Compliance Management
- Ensure timely registration, renewal, and maintenance of all statutory licenses and registrations under applicable laws, including Factories Act, CLRA, Shops & Establishments Act, and Pollution Control Board, across all warehouses.
- Maintain statutory compliance calendars and ensure adherence to all applicable central and state labor laws.
- Coordinate and handle inspections, audits, and inquiries by statutory authorities such as Labour Department, PF, ESI, and Factory Inspectorate.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date statutory records, documentation, and compliance certifications.
2. Vendor & Manpower Compliance
- Ensure contractor and manpower vendor compliance under CLRA, including license management, renewals, and issuance of Form V.
- Review and verify monthly statutory submissions related to PF, ESI, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable compliances.
- Conduct periodic compliance audits of vendors and prepare detailed compliance status and gap reports.
3. Policy & Documentation
- Develop, review, and implement internal compliance policies, procedures, and SOPs in line with statutory requirements.
- Maintain a centralized compliance repository and documentation database for audits and reference.
- Support Legal and HRBP teams in responding to statutory notices, inspections, and government audits.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate closely with Operations, HR, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure organization-wide compliance alignment.
- Prepare and present periodic compliance MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to site HR teams on statutory norms, regulatory updates, and best compliance practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Labour Law, or a related discipline.
- 48 years of relevant experience in HR statutory compliance, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labor laws, including central and state-specific statutory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing multi-location statutory compliance and coordinating with external vendors and contractors.
- Demonstrated expertise in documentation management, audit handling, and statutory communications.

- Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination abilities.
