About the Role

As a People Partner – Operations, you will embed directly within our high-growth Operations team to build, scale, and optimize our talent strategy. You'll act as a strategic advisor to leadership and an advocate for employees, translating business goals into actionable workforce solutions that boost productivity, retain top talent, and maintain operational discipline.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Performance & Talent Management: Partner with Ops managers to guide quarter/annual goal-setting, execute performance reviews, manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and champion a culture of accountability.
  • Employee Relations & Advocacy: Serve as a trusted counselor for employee concerns, ensuring fair, confidential, and rapid resolution of grievances while managing workplace conflicts.
  • Data-Driven Retention & Exits: Conduct 100% of exit interviews for Ops personnel, analyze attrition drivers, and deliver quarterly insights to leadership with targeted intervention plans.
  • Quarterly Engagement Initiatives: Conceptualize and execute 6+ quarterly engagement programs tailored to operational staff to elevate morale and foster high team alignment.
  • End-to-End Lifecycle & Process Compliance: Oversee seamless onboarding-to-offboarding workflows, ensuring 100% operational adherence to company policies and Hire-to-Offer protocols in partnership with Talent Acquisition.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Utilize workforce analytics (turnover, productivity, engagement scores) to advise Ops leaders on organizational design, culture, and team performance.

What You Will Need

  • Experience: 3–4 years of progressive HR BP / People Operations experience, ideally within a fast-moving startup, logistics, tech, or high-volume operational setting.
  • Core HR Expertise: Hands-on mastery in Employee Relations, PIP administration, performance cycles, and HR compliance.
  • Problem-Solving & Data Literacy: Ability to interpret HR metrics, identify underlying talent trends, and present structured solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptionally high emotional intelligence, sound judgment with confidential matters, clear communication, and comfort navigating organizational ambiguity.
  • Execution Mindset: Bias for action, strong attention to detail, and a track record of driving process rigor without sacrificing agility.
