Role Overview
The HR Business Partner will work closely with founders, business leaders, and store teams to drive performance, culture, and capability at scale. This role goes beyond policy - you'll be a people strategist, execution partner, and culture custodian for a growing retail organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Partnering
Act as a strategic HR partner to business and retail leadership.
Translate business goals into people plans across stores and corporate teams.
Coach leaders on performance, feedback, and difficult people decisions.
2. Retail HR & Frontline Excellence
Own end-to-end HR for store teams (hiring support, onboarding, engagement, exits).
Drive store-level discipline around attendance, performance, and productivity.
Build strong HR processes suited for frontline and high-volume environments.
3. Performance & Talent Management
Lead performance cycles, goal setting, and regular feedback mechanisms.
Identify high-potential talent and build succession plans for key roles.
Partner with TA on workforce planning and hiring quality.
4. Culture, Engagement & Retention
Drive culture initiatives aligned with Uni Seoul's brand values.
Diagnose attrition issues and design practical retention strategies.
Act as a trusted point of contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory compliance, and HR hygiene.
Manage HR data, MIS, and people metrics for leadership reviews.
Continuously improve HR policies to match a fast-growing startup environment.
What We're Looking For
58 years of HRBP experience, preferably in retail, QSR, D2C, or consumer brands.
Strong understanding of frontline HR and high-volume people operations.
Proven experience partnering with business leaders and founders.
Comfortable working in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
High emotional intelligence with the ability to push back when needed.
Data-driven, but deeply people-centric.
