Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner (HRBP) with 5–7 years of experience to manage end-to-end HR activities for our R&D function in a fast-paced environment. This role will act as the primary HR contact for employees and leadership, driving people strategy while ensuring operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of business understanding and HR expertise, with the ability to work closely with technical teams. Given the nature of the role, a BE (Bachelor of Engineering) along with an MBA in HR or equivalent is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

•Act as the primary HR partner for the R&D organization, supporting employees, managers, and leadership (including VP-level stakeholders) on all people-related matters

•Manage end-to-end HR lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, performance management, employee relations, and offboarding

•Revamp and execute onboarding programs, including structured 30-60-90-day plans for new hires

•Design and implement Rewards & Recognition (R&R) programs across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles

•Drive Hi-Po (High Potential) identification, conversations, and engagement frameworks

•Develop and execute structured employee engagement initiatives, tailored specifically for R&D teams

•Lead policy creation and standardization, ensuring clarity, compliance, and scalability in a growing organization

•Manage employee relations including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans

•Conduct exit interviews, analyze insights, and design retention strategies and action plans

•Partner with hiring managers to support workforce planning and recruitment needs

•Maintain accurate HR data, trackers, and documentation

•Track and analyze key HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, onboarding effectiveness, and engagement

•Drive POSH training, awareness, and compliance monitoring across the organization

•Bring structure to ambiguous or evolving HR processes, ensuring consistency and scalability

•Collaborate with leadership to support people strategy initiatives aligned with business goals.

Job Requirements

•BE (Bachelor of Engineering) is mandatory

•MBA in HR or equivalent qualification

•5–7 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in startups or R&D-driven organizations

•Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes and HRBP frameworks

•Experience working closely with technical teams and senior stakeholders (including VP-level)

•Proven experience in policy design, employee engagement, and performance management

•Strong exposure to Hi-Po programs, R&R frameworks, and onboarding design

•Solid understanding of POSH compliance and employee relations practices

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

•Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment

•High ownership, attention to detail, and execution rigor

•Proficiency in MS Office tools
