Job Description

  • The HR Business Partner is responsible for partnering with business. He / She would be responsible for building a strong HR relationship with stakeholders, building mechanisms to drive performance management, Associate engagement and development, counseling, compliance of HR practices and guidelines. The HRBP will understand requirements of business and will work closely with Delivery leadership to offer tailor made solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To partner with the leadership to understand business environment and work to develop and execute solutions to address Associate management issues.
  • To implement IBU/SBU specific strategy in association with the business leaders to improve MCARES / ICSAT scores, in line with Organizational HR Strategy.
  • Ensure effective communication flows within the Units
  • To be a catalyst to drive HR strategy within the Units
  • Enable the execution and implementation of major Human Resources processes in collaboration with the other functions (e.g. Appraisals, increments, compensation and salary administration).
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex associate issues and provide guidance and intervention, as needed to resolve grievances.
  • Collaborate with internal stake holders to ensure buffer management & involuntary exits and also assess potential risks
  • Partner with the LLS/ TLS And NS SKILL Academy team to assess skill gaps and also support in identification of people to attend training.
  • Drive the policy awareness and ensure compliance across the SBU organization.
  • Provide Unit leadership timely analysis on key performance indicators relating to people issues (e.g. retention, HTR, leaves , Hi-pots program, D&I).
  • Enable associate satisfaction programs to improve morale and retention.
  • Engage with all top ta lent within the Unit.
  • Promote an environment that encourages employee growth. Review results of People Surveys and work with leadership to affect change.
  • Drive employer branding efforts

Key skills required:

  • Should have knowledge of the principles and practices of HR & an understanding of employment Laws / HR practices
  • Ability to build strategic partnerships with internal and external stake holders.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Possess strong skills on data analysis, documentation and presentations
  • Knowledge of MS Office
