As we rapidly scale our offline presence and retail network across the country, building, engaging, and sustaining high-performing on-ground teams is critical to our growth.

Role:

As the HR Business Partner for Retail, you will own the entire employee lifecycle for our offline storefronts and field operations. You won't just be building the hiring engine; you will be the custodian of culture, engagement, and talent retention on the ground. Your mission is to ensure Traya's retail teams are structured for success, deeply engaged, and aligned with our core business goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Talent Acquisition & Capacity Planning

  • Strategic Scaling: Lead high-volume and lateral hiring for store staff, advisors, operations executives, and regional leadership roles.
  • Sourcing Strategy: Design and execute multi-channel sourcing strategies (Naukri, local databases, field mapping, campus hiring, and specialist agencies) to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with Retail Business & Ops leaders to forecast manpower requirements and execute timely ramp-ups.

2. End-to-End Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Seamless Onboarding: Standardize and oversee the orientation and onboarding journey to ensure field teams are culturally aligned and job-ready from Day 1.
  • Employee Engagement: Design and implement engagement initiatives tailored specifically for a dispersed, on-ground workforce to boost morale and connection with the central brand.
  • Grievance Redressal: Act as the primary point of contact for retail employee relations, resolving grievances, managing disciplinary actions, and ensuring a fair, legally compliant workplace.
  • Separation & Exit Management: Oversee the entire exit process, conduct thorough exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and implement actionable retention strategies.

3. HR Operations & Analytics

  • Governance: Manage offer rollouts, background verifications, documentation, and pre-joining follow-ups to minimize dropouts.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Maintain real-time hiring trackers, attrition dashboards, and HR metrics to provide data-backed recommendations to leadership.

You're a Great Fit If:

  • Experience: You have 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 3+ years acting as an HRBP or leading talent acquisition specifically for a frontline/retail workforce.
  • Full-Stack HR Knowledge: You are well-versed in the entire employee life cycle—from talent sourcing and onboarding to engagement, compliance, and offboarding.
  • Execution & Leadership: You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and possess the maturity to handle sensitive employee relations with empathy and fairness.
  • Data-Minded: You love numbers, track pipelines meticulously, and use data to solve recruitment and retention bottlenecks.

Bonus Points If:

  • You have scaled HR operations for a D2C brand, retail chain, or FMCD field network.
  • You possess a strong understanding of regional labor dynamics and local market sourcing.

Why You'll Love Working Here:

  • High Impact: You will directly shape the workforce driving Traya's next big growth phase—our offline expansion.
  • True Ownership: This is a dual-impact role blending strategic HR business partnering with agile execution.
  • Growth Velocity: We operate in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that actively rewards outcomes, leadership, and meritocracy.
