Job Description

Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Company: QI Spine (QI Lifecare Pvt. Ltd.)

Location: Kurla, Mumbai, Maharashtra

Experience: 1–2 years

Function: People & Culture

About QI Spine

QI Spine is India's largest non-surgical spine care company, on a mission to redefine how spine and back pain is treated through data-driven, evidence-based care. We combine clinical excellence with technology (including our proprietary Digital Spine Analysis) to deliver measurable outcomes for patients across our clinics.

Role Overview

We're looking for an early-career HRBP to support the people agenda across assigned clinical and corporate teams. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to learn the full HRBP craft — partnering with managers, driving engagement, and executing HR processes on the ground while building the foundations of a strategic HR career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers in assigned business units on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Support the employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmations, transfers, exits, and full-and-final coordination with HR Ops.
  • Drive engagement initiatives, pulse surveys, and follow-up action planning to improve retention and morale.
  • Partner with managers on performance management cycles — goal-setting, reviews, and development conversations.
  • Help identify and address attrition drivers; conduct stay and exit interviews and share insights.
  • Support R&R programs, employee communications, and culture-building activities.
  • Maintain accurate HR data, dashboards, and trackers; generate people metrics for business reviews.
  • Assist in rolling out HR policies and ensure consistent, fair application across teams.
  • Handle basic employee grievances and escalate complex ER matters appropriately.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of HR experience, preferably with HRBP, generalist, or ER exposure (healthcare, retail, or multi-location services a plus).
  • MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable engaging frontline clinical staff and corporate teams.
  • Analytical mindset — able to work with Excel and HR dashboards to spot trends.
  • High ownership, empathy, and the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment with evolving processes.

Why Join Us

Be part of a category-defining healthcare company where HR directly enables patient impact. You'll get broad exposure across the HRBP toolkit early in your career, work closely with senior leaders, and grow in a culture built on curiosity, ownership, and relentless commitment.
