HR Business Partner – India (IC Role)
Job Overview
At Ecolab, you will partner with business leaders to drive people strategy and deliver end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in enabling business growth through effective talent management, strong employee relations, and robust HR process execution.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the HR Director – India, supporting multiple business units.

What You Will Do
- Partner with business leaders to plan and execute HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (selection, onboarding, development, engagement, and exits)
- Drive labour relations and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a positive work environment
- Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and performance management practices
- Support talent development, training, and succession planning initiatives
- Ensure compliance with equal employment, affirmative action, and statutory regulations
- Maintain and oversee HR records, reporting, and employee services delivery
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR policies and programmes aligned with corporate frameworks
- Drive HR analytics and reporting, including use of tools like Workday and Excel
- Influence stakeholders through strong communication, problem-solving, and business acumen

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner / Generalist role
- Experience in managing end-to-end HR lifecycle processes
- Strong understanding of employee relations and HR governance
- Working knowledge of HR systems (preferably Workday)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience working in an MNC environment within manufacturing or industrial sector
- Strong executive presence with effective communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and influencing leadership decisions
