About the role

We are looking for a people-centric and business-oriented HR Business Partner to support our Operations, E-Commerce, (Frontline workforce across the locations) and Technology teams.

This role will serve as the primary HR point of contact for the business and play a critical role in building trust, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive employee experience. The successful candidate will build strong relationships across levels, proactively identify people challenges, drive employee engagement, and work closely with business leaders to create a productive and positive work environment.

This is a highly collaborative role requiring regular interaction with field teams, operations leaders, procurement teams, key account managers, and technology professionals. The role requires a strong on-ground presence, regular travel, and the ability to build trust and influence across diverse employee groups.

Responsibilities

Business Partnership

  • Partner with business leaders across Operations, E-Commerce, Procurement, Key Accounts, and Technology teams on people-related matters
  • Understand business priorities and translate them into practical people solutions
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee concerns, team effectiveness, and people decisions
  • Build strong working relationships across functions and levels

Employee Connect & Engagement

  • Be the primary HR touchpoint for employees across assigned teams
  • Build strong relationships with employees and managers through regular field visits, employee connects, skip-level discussions, and feedback forums
  • Create an environment where employees feel heard, supported, and engaged
  • Proactively identify employee concerns and address them before they escalate

Employee Relations & Problem Solving

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and grievances. Facilitate fair and timely resolution of employee issues
  • Support managers in handling employee concerns, grievances, and workplace challenges
  • Ensure employees feel heard, supported, and informed
  • Drive a culture of openness, trust, and accountability
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and practices
  • Support disciplinary processes and conflict resolution when required

Talent & Performance

  • Support performance management and development conversations
  • Partner with managers on employee growth, retention, and development initiatives
  • Identify talent risks and recommend interventions where required

HR Programs & Execution

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and people programs
  • Support onboarding, transitions, and employee lifecycle activities
  • Partner with internal HR teams to ensure seamless employee experience

  • MBA / Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, or Generalist HR roles
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
  • Ability to build credibility and rapport with both frontline employees and business leaders
  • High ownership and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively across locations
  • Experience supporting Operations, Supply Chain, E-Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Agri-tech, Logistics, or Technology teams
  • Fluency in English and Hindi is essential. Knowledge of one or more South Indian languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam) will be a strong advantage
