We are looking for an HR Business Partner who will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, enabling organizational effectiveness, performance, talent capability and culture, while ensuring compliance with regulatory, quality and data integrity standards typical of the pharmaceutical industry. The role focuses on hands‑on HR partnering, employee lifecycle management and effective execution of people initiatives aligned with business priorities and organizational values.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with functional leaders and line managers to support day‑to‑day HR support and guidance on people decisions.
- Act as the first point of contact for managers on employee‑related matters.
- Support execution of the performance management cycle including goal setting, reviews, calibration and performance improvement support.
- Assist in talent identification, capability building and internal mobility initiatives.
- Support career discussions, development planning and learning interventions for employees.
- Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, warning letters, counselling and exits in consultation with senior HR and Legal.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, code of conduct and disciplinary procedures.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, townhalls and communication cascades.
- Assist leaders in managing change initiatives such as restructures, process changes or team transitions.
- Actively contribute to culture‑building and inclusion initiatives.
- Ensure HR systems accuracy and support audits as required.
- Partner with HR COEs and Shared Services to ensure effective delivery of HR operations, systems, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Use HR data and dashboards to derive insights on attrition, performance trends, manpower, and risk indicators.
Requirements
- MBA / PGDM in HR
- 6–8 years of HR experience, with exposure to HR Business Partnering or HR generalist roles
- Pharma / Biopharma / Manufacturing / Regulated industry experience preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Practical understanding of HR policies and compliance requirements
- Problem solving and decision-making capability
- Comfort working in structured, audit driven environments
- Data orientation, analysis and attention to detail
