About the Hiring Function

The HR Department is the cornerstone of organizational success as it focuses on designing and implementing robust systems and practices for key people processes such as talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, capability building, employee engagement, and HR policies and initiatives. Some of the key focus areas for the HR team include - Attracting, Retaining & Developing Business Ready Talent; Harnessing Technology to Augment Employee Experience & Productivity; and Cultivating an Agile Organization Structure to Support Business Transformation. Through its focused efforts, the HR department aims to enhance employee engagement and foster an inclusive high-performance culture that drives profitable growth & enables strategic shifts for Business.

Role Purpose:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as the corporate HR representative driving employee experience and strategic alignment with business goals. This role is pivotal in executing HR processes, supporting employee lifecycle management, and fostering a culture of compliance, and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Serve as the HR SPOC for employees regarding HR-related queries, grievances, and concerns.
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and integration aligned with company culture and values.
  • Manage contractual workforce lifecycle including gig and consultant contracts.

Performance Management

  • Facilitate goal setting, appraisals, and feedback processes.
  • Conduct goal alignment workshops and ensure timely closure of PMS steps.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate and promote functional and local training programs.
  • Drive participation and capability-building initiatives.

Technology & Policy Adoption

  • Promote usage of HR systems
  • Create awareness and drive adoption of HR policies and benefit programs.

Grievance Handling & Employee Relations

  • Act as the first point of contact for grievances.
  • Ensure fair and timely resolution while fostering open communication.

Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

  • Ensure adherence to local and central labor laws.
  • Drive mandatory training coverage and local regulatory compliance.

Recognition & Culture Building

  • Roll out and promote participation in recognition programs
  • Support initiatives that reinforce organizational values and culture.

Success Metrics

  • Employee Feedback Scores
  • Coverage in PMS, Training, and Compliance
  • Timely closure of grievances and contracts
  • Adoption rates of HR systems and policies

Candidate Profile:

Experience:

  • Expertise in a business partner or generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of HR partnering, and organizational dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
