Job Description

At Walnut Folks Group, we are looking for a people first HR Talent Management professional who understands the fast-paced and evolving nature of advertising and marketing agencies.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working closely with people, building strong teams, improving employee experiences, driving learning & development initiatives, strengthening retention, and contributing to the long-term growth of both employees and the organization.

The ideal candidate is emotionally intelligent, mature in handling people situations, proactive in identifying concerns and passionate about building a culture where teams can grow, perform and stay engaged.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Management & Employee Growth
• Drive employee engagement and talent management initiatives across teams
• Work closely with managers and employees to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and overall team health
• Conduct regular employee connect sessions and support career growth conversations
• Help managers identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and development plans for team members
• Partner with leadership teams to strengthen employee experience and team culture
• Contribute towards building scalable people practices as teams grow across the organization

Learning & Development (L&D)
• Plan and execute learning and development initiatives across departments
• Identify skill gaps and coordinate relevant training programs and workshops
• Support the creation of learning journeys for employees across different levels
• Coordinate internal and external training sessions, certifications and development programs
• Maintain learning records, trackers, and employee development plans
• Create and improve training content, learning resources, and engagement activities

Employee Engagement & Culture
• Build and execute employee engagement activities that create a positive and collaborative work environment
• Organize team bonding initiatives, culture activities, wellness programs, celebrations, and town halls
• Help foster a high-performance yet people-friendly work culture
• Act as a bridge between employees and leadership by proactively understanding team sentiments and concerns
• Support initiatives focused on employee motivation, belongingness, and workplace happiness

Who We Are Looking For
• 1 - 4 years of HR experience, preferably in Advertising, Marketing, Digital, Media or Creative Agency environments
• Strong exposure to Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, Retention, or People Growth initiatives
• Someone who has worked closely with growing and scaling teams
• Mature, empathetic, approachable, and people-oriented personality
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to handle employee conversations with sensitivity and professionalism
• Highly organized with strong ownership and execution abilities
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR tools/platforms

Working Days : Monday to Friday (Onsite) + Saturday Half Day (WFH)
