Job Description

The Exit Interview Specialist is responsible for conducting structured telephonic exit interviews with employees who have recently resigned from client organizations. The primary objective of the role is to uncover the true reasons behind employee attrition, capture unbiased feedback, and translate conversations into meaningful insights that help organizations improve retention, leadership effectiveness, and workplace experience.

This role requires strong listening, probing, analytical, and communication skills, as the specialist will engage departing employees in thoughtful conversations to identify underlying triggers that led to their decision to leave.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Telephonic Exit Interviews
  • Carry out structured exit interviews with employees who have resigned from client organizations, following the defined interview framework.
  • Capture and Frame Employee Feedback
  • Accurately document employee responses and convert conversations into clear, well-articulated feedback summaries.
  • Identify Root Causes of Attrition
  • Analyze interview responses to determine the primary and secondary reasons employees decided to leave.
  • Probe for Deeper Insights
  • Ask relevant follow-up questions to understand the underlying factors influencing employee turnover, including leadership, work environment, career growth, compensation, and organizational culture.
  • Maintain Interview Quality and Confidentiality
  • Ensure that all interviews are conducted professionally while maintaining confidentiality and neutrality.
  • Meet Daily Interview Targets
  • Complete 79 exit interviews per day while maintaining quality and accuracy in feedback documentation.
  • Support Attrition Analysis
  • Provide structured feedback that contributes to broader attrition analysis and actionable insights for client organizations.

Requirements
  • Education
  • Psychology Graduate / Postgraduate OR
  • MBA in HR (preferred for freshers)
  • Experience
  • Prior experience in HR, employee engagement, counseling, or psychology-related roles is preferred.
  • Freshers with relevant academic background and strong communication skills may apply.
