Job Description

This role is in Accenture Research Global Human Insights Team.

We are looking for a Survey Specialist with a strong research mindset and a passion for turning primary data into clear, business-relevant insight.

This role also provides the opportunity to work closely with Accenture Research's innovation ecosystem, including Data Science, Economic Modelling, and Data Visualization, and to help explore the responsible use of GenAI-enabled approaches to enhance research efficiency, analytical depth, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities include:

Method design: working with senior research leads on the design of quantitative survey research projects.

Project management:

  • managing discrete elements of complex projects (incl. sampling, questionnaire design), including liaising with vendors under the supervision of more senior researchers.
  • owning quality during the full survey process

Analytics: utilizing advanced analytical techniques to develop surprising new insights, and creatively visualize findings for client use

Storytelling & Presentation:

  • interpreting data and shaping compelling, business-focused stories for a variety of internal and external audiences
  • contributing to high-quality presentation materials for current and potential clients, conferences, and other audiences

Innovation:

  • collaborating closely with other parts of Accenture Research Innovation team, including Data Science, Economic Modelling and Data Visualization, to drive innovation in research.

Experience and skills:

Expertise in survey research methodologies both for B2C and B2B research

Expertise in quantitative survey data analysis techniques, incl. advanced statistical analysis (such as regression, factor analysis, cluster analysis), statistical principles (such as sampling and weighting).

Exposure to/or knowledge of qualitative research techniques

Knowledge of SPSS, Qualtrics any other survey tool. Python or R for statistical research.

Experience and facility with data-driven research techniques, data visualization and the application of advanced analytical approaches (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing)

Strong storytelling and communication skills and facility in executive presentation

Ability to create a project plan and execute against it

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Problem solver approach to work

Understanding of global business and economic issues

Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural team

Clear enthusiasm for research and willingness to learn and grow

Additional Information

Reports to: Survey Research Senior Principal

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree, preferably in science or engineering.

A PG degree in business, such as business (MBA), economics or equivalent is a plus

Work Experience:

5-8 years of business experience, preferably in a consulting environment, think tank, financial institution, or other 3rd party business research organization or demonstrated equivalent skill.
