Role Overview
We are seeking a Front-End Lead (ReactJS) to join our Engineering team and take ownership of building high quality, scalable, and user-friendly front-end applications. This is a hands-on cum lead role : you will write code, design architecture, and at the same time guide and mentor a team of developers.
As part of the Engineering team driving core product development, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that define the future of digital guest experiences in hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of front-end engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews.
- Architect, design, and implement robust ReactJS applications and reusable UI components.
- Ensure best practices in performance, scalability, testing, and maintainability of the front-end codebase.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate business requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Drive adoption of modern React workflows (hooks, state management, component optimization).
- Build and maintain automated test coverage (unit, integration, E2E).
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for smooth and efficient deployments.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, ensuring timely sprint delivery and product quality.
- Stay current with emerging front-end technologies and bring relevant innovations into the team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on ReactJS.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a small team of developers.
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools (e.g., for coding, testing, documentation, or productivity) to drive efficiency and speed in software delivery.
- Solid background in unit testing & E2E testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and effective web service integration.
- Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Proficient with Git, Agile-Scrum, and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Redux middleware (Thunk, Saga, Observable).
- Exposure to full-stack development (Node.js, APIs).
- Familiarity with GraphQL or WebSockets.
- Knowledge of micro-frontend architectures.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
- SaaS or hospitality domain experience.
