Role Overview:
The HubSpot Strategist plays a pivotal role in aligning client business objectives with the capabilities of the HubSpot ecosystem to drive efficiency, scalability, and revenue growth. This role blends strategic consulting, RevOps expertise, technical configuration, and project leadership. You will lead discovery sessions, design multi-hub HubSpot architectures, and guide clients through transformation initiatives that accelerate their gotomarket (GTM) success.
You will act as the primary strategic advisor for clients, owning relationships, defining roadmaps, and ensuring that HubSpot solutions deliver measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Client Advisory
- Define and own the strategic direction for HubSpot transformation projects.
- Translate client business goals into scalable multi-hub HubSpot solutions.
- Lead discovery, audits, workshops, and stakeholder interviews.
- Develop endtoend GTM strategies covering the entire customer lifecycle.
- Facilitate strategic planning sessions with teams from end users to the Csuite.
2. Client Success & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary advisor and trusted partner for all strategic initiatives.
- Build long-term client relationships that focus on growth and profitability.
- Lead client onboarding, enablement sessions, communication cadences, and trainings.
- Provide clear documentation including briefs, flowcharts, and architectural diagrams.
- Identify opportunities for optimization and account expansion.
3. KPI-Driven Planning & Project Management
- Develop strategic implementation plans covering CRM architecture, process optimization, automation, data governance, and reporting frameworks.
- Manage full project life cycles including roadmaps, timelines, sprint plans, and resource forecasting.
- Monitor project performance, proactively communicating progress and risks.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and ongoing health checks.
4. Quality Control & Delivery Excellence
- Review and approve work before delivery for accuracy, quality, and strategic alignment.
- Mentor delivery teams and maintain best practices across client engagements.
- Contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and frameworks.
5. Platform Configuration & Technical Execution
- Provide backup technical execution support when required.
- Architect and configure Marketing, Sales, Service, Operations, and CMS Hubs.
- Build workflows, automation rules, properties, data models, and integrations.
- Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks tied to revenue and pipeline KPIs.
- Maintain technical system health, data quality, and proper portal usage.
6. Business Development & Account Growth
- Support scoping of new projects and estimation of required effort.
- Develop annual plans and proactive service recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to increase client engagement and expand revenue.

- Experience in a similar role within a HubSpot Solutions Partner agency.
- Proven success managing multiple concurrent client engagements.
- End-to-end ownership of RevOps/GTM transformations from discovery to execution.
- Advanced proficiency across all HubSpot Hubs.
- Experience designing CRM architecture, automation, integrations, and reporting.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and API concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
