The Role

As a HSE Specialist II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • Responsible for overseeing the HSE compliance of Contractors in a mega project.
  • Strong understanding and exposure in driving Contractor HSE management system.
  • Thorough understanding of HSE statutory requirements specific to India.
  • Convene meetings with internal stakeholders to set the HSE expectations.
  • Conducting Monthly HSE auditing to review the Contractor HSE compliance.
  • Investigating the incidents reported to capture the learnings.
  • Preparing and reviewing the risk assessment process.
  • Conducting safety campaigns to create awareness among the work force.
  • Reviewing the effectiveness of Emergency mock drills by conducting periodic mock drills.
  • Liaising with Customer & Contractor to align with company HSE expectations.
  • You will provide architectural engineering services to Worley, and its Customers.
  • Deliver architectural engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Perform architectural engineering services such as:
    • Identify and report changes to project scope.
    • Assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules.
    • Provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders.
    • Contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions.
    • Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in architectural engineering.
  • Communicate effectively with the architectural engineering team and project stakeholders, including the Customer.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required.
About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • B.E./ B.Tech / B.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry / Maths) / Diploma in engineering from recognized Institute and Diploma in Industrial Safety from recognized university. Examination of such course should have been conducted by Technical Education Board of respective state or approved university.
  • Must have more than 10 years of experience for BE/ B. Tech and 13 years for BSc./ Diploma Engineers, in managing HSE activities in construction industries.
