The Role

As a HSE Specialist II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supervise and ensure safe execution of UG water tank construction activities.
  • Monitor mechanical excavation and trenching activities to prevent collapse and proper shoring.
  • Oversee safe loading and unloading of materials and ensure proper lifting practices.
  • Manage vehicle movement and traffic control within the site.
  • Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) system for critical activities.
  • Ensure safety during brickwork, masonry and general civil works.
  • Conduct daily site inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with PPE usage and company's safety procedures.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness training sessions.
  • Investigate incidents, near-misses and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with site team and contractors for HSE compliance.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

Job Specific Knowledge

  • Knowledge of document control and administration activities at project site.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
  • Experience in excavation, trenching and civil construction safety.
  • Good understanding of PTW systems and risk assessment.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to enforce safety rules and ensure compliance.

Industry Specific Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of Construction safety experience for BE/BSc Graduates/ 10 years of experience for Diploma holders.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

  • Bsc or BE / Diploma in any stream, Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety or NEBOSH IGC.

Location:

  • NEH Mumbai, Local candidate is preferred.

HSE Capability

  • HSEMS, Training, Audit, Investigation, HSE Documentation.

IT Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office.

People Skills

  • Team Player, interpersonal skills.

Other

  • Adaptable, open towards learning and development and person of integrity.

Extent Of Guidance Or Control

  • To guide site team to ensure compliance of HSEMS & contract requirements.

Impact Of Decisions On Results

  • To provide cost effective solution for site implementation.

  • Site based HSE position.
