Qualifications

HSE Head & HSE Lead

• B.E./B.Tech (Any Discipline)
• NEBOSH Diploma or IOSH Managing Safely
• Additional HSE certifications will be an advantage

HSE Supervisor

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma
• NEBOSH / IOSH / Industrial Safety Certification preferred

Experience

HSE Head

• 12–15 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing HSE programs across large, multi-contractor construction sites.
• Strong experience in renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or EPC projects.

HSE Lead

• 12–15 years of experience in construction HSE management.
• Experience implementing Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, HSE plans, incident management, and contractor safety programs.
• Experience managing HSE compliance across large-scale Solar, Wind, BESS, or substation projects.

HSE Supervisor

• 5–8 years of experience in site HSE supervision and monitoring.
• Experience conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, permit monitoring, and contractor safety oversight.
• Hands-on experience in construction site safety implementation.

Preferred Sector Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following sectors will be preferred:

• Utility-Scale Solar Projects
• Wind Energy Projects
• Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Projects
• High Voltage Substations & Transmission Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

HSE Head Responsibilities

• Develop and govern project HSE plans, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Lead incident investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and oversee high-risk activity controls.
• Drive HSE audits, contractor compliance, and emergency preparedness programs.

HSE Lead Responsibilities

• Implement HSE plans and monitor EPC contractor compliance.
• Manage PTW systems, risk assessments, and site safety inspections.
• Conduct incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate safety training, audits, and emergency response activities.

HSE Supervisor Responsibilities

• Perform daily site safety monitoring and contractor supervision.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure PPE compliance.
• Verify PTW implementation and safe work practices.
• Report unsafe conditions and support incident investigations.

Preferred Technical Exposure

Solar Projects

• Multi-contractor PTW management.
• Solar construction safety and EPC compliance.
• HSE inspections during module installation activities.

Wind Projects

• Work-at-height and tower climbing safety.
• Crane lifting and heavy equipment safety management.
• Turbine fire prevention and emergency response.
• Daily height safety inspections and permit verification.

BESS Projects

• Fire and thermal runaway risk management.
• Chemical and electrolyte handling safety.
• Confined space entry management.
• Fire watch and commissioning safety activities.
