We are seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, ensuring compliance with regulations and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Providing training and guidance to employees on HSE practices and emergency response procedures.
- Monitoring and reporting on HSE performance metrics and preparing reports for management review.
- Investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborating with various departments to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness within the organization.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent safety certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements in India.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of staff and management.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in promoting a safe working environment.
- Experience with HSE management systems and software tools.
