We are hiring - HSE Executive
Role Summary:
Hands-on HSE Executive role focused primarily on ETP/STP operations and shop floor safety execution. Responsible for plant monitoring, safety inspections, unsafe act/condition control, training, and documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory and audit requirements
Key Responsibilities:
ETP/STP Operations
- Monitor and support ETP/STP operations as per TNPCB norms
- Coordinate and ensure operator availability & support
- Maintain operation logs, records, and compliance data
- Track parameters and initiate corrective actions
Shop Floor Safety
- Perform daily safety inspections
- Identify and close unsafe acts & conditions
- Ensure work permit (PTW) compliance
- Monitor contractor and shop floor safety practices
Safety Implementation
- Conduct Risk Assessment & JSA
- Apply Hierarchy of Controls
- Ensure compliance with: Machine Safety (guarding, interlocks) and Electrical Safety (panels, earthing, safe practices)
Fire & Chemical Safety
- Inspect and maintain firefighting systems
- Conduct mock drills & emergency response drills
- Ensure chemical safety & MSDS compliance
Training & Awareness
- Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety trainings
- Promote safe behaviour and PPE compliance
Documentation & Records
- Maintain: ETP/STP logs & reports, Inspection & observation records and Training & incident records
- Ensure all documents are accurate and audit-ready
Audit Support
- Support SMETA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 audits
- Ensure required documents, logs, and records are updated and available
Requirements:
- BSC / Diploma in Industrial Safety/Fire Safety
- 2–4 year's strong experience in ETP/STP + shop floor safety
- Strong knowledge of HSE practices, TNPCB norms, and audits
- Good MS Office, communication & training skills
