About The Role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Developer with 23 years of hands-on experience building and supporting HRMS (Human Resource Management System) SaaS applications. In this role, you will contribute to new development, system enhancements, integrations, and performance optimization of our HR technology platform.
You will work closely with product managers, QA, UI/UX designers, and other engineering team members to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing HR solutions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Development & Implementation
· Design, develop, and maintain modules within the HRMS SaaS platform (e.g., Attendance, Payroll, Leave, Recruitment, Employee Self-Service).
· Implement high-quality, clean, maintainable, and testable code.
· Enhance existing features and contribute to new product initiatives based on product roadmap.
System Integration & APIs
· Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with thirdparty HR or payroll systems.
· Troubleshoot and optimize API performance and reliability.
Database & Backend Work
· Work on database design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
· Ensure data security, compliance, and integrity across HR modules.
Quality & Performance
· Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure high-quality releases.
· Participate in code reviews, debugging, and technical issue resolution.
Collaboration
· Work cross-functionally with product teams to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
· Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
· 23 years of experience in HRMS or HR Tech SaaS products (mandatory).
· Strong experience in any of the following tech stacks (add/adjust as needed):
- Backend: Node.js / Java / .NET / Python / PHP
- Frontend: React.js / Angular / Vue.js
- Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server
· Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloudbased environments.
· Understanding of HR business processes (Payroll, Attendance, Leave, Employee Lifecycle, etc.).
· Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Soft Skills
· Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within agile teams.
· Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
· Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
· Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes.
· Knowledge of HR compliance standards (PF/ESI, tax rules, regional lawsdepending on geography).
· Experience working in fast-paced SaaS startups or product companies.
