The company's technology hub, Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center, India, will lead technology innovation and product development for the organization and its portfolio of distinct brands. The Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center will focus on developing new capabilities in data science, data analytics, eCommerce, automation, cloud computing, and information security to accelerate the company's business strategy. Inspire Brands Hyderabad Support Center will also host an innovation lab and collaborate with start-ups to develop solutions for productivity optimization, workforce management, loyalty management, payments systems, and more.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior HRIS Analyst will support the design, configuration, and administration of Inspire Brand's HR systems and processes. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert in Workday Compensation (Core and Advanced), including business process management, report writing, configuration, data management, data extraction, and integration liaison between vendors, functional HR stakeholders and IT – Enterprise Applications, Product Management and PMO. The role collaborates closely with our Compensation and HR Operations teams, as well as other HR/Payroll Centers of Expertise and our multi-brand HR Business Partners to analyze and document current processes and procedures with a consultative approach to improve the efficiency of the business operations within Workday or other integrated platforms. This individual will play both a technical and functional role depending on who they are collaborating with.

This position will be located at the Inspire Global Support Center in India with expected working hours of 2pm to 11pm IST.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, configure, implement and maintain Workday core and advanced compensation plans, grade profiles, merit matrices, allowance plans, and bonus/scorecard frameworks.
  • Create and maintain condition rules, routing steps, and business processes for compensation events.
  • Test and deploy Workday updates, perform regression testing, and manage system change requests through structured change control protocols as prescribed.
  • Serve as the primary HRIS support resource during annual compensation review cycles, executing merit grids, proration rules, and budget pools.
  • Support compensation reporting, audit tracking, cycle close activities, and off-cycle compensation events.
  • Partner with Workforce Management team on any reports and dashboards that need to be developed or modified, collaborating with COE partners to build out requirements and validate.
  • Create and optimize calculated fields to support complex business logic and compensation reporting needs.
  • Act as a consultative partner to HR and other business stakeholders, translating business requirements into effective Workday configurations toward testing, approval and deployment steps.
  • Work closely with HR Centers of Expertise, HR Business Partners and technical teams to gather and define requirements, provide recommendations through a consultative approach, document changes for change control purposes, design, demo, and implement solutions, and ensure user ease of adoption.
  • Support all Compensation activities within Workday, including change and enhancement requests related to Compensation processes, plans, calculations, rules and tables, eligibility criteria, and interdependencies. Knowledge and exposure to payroll processes would be beneficial. This role leads the end-to-end process of configuration including discovery, requirements gathering, design sessions, configuration, testing, deployment to production, operational support, maintaining eligibility rules, reporting and preliminary support for related integrations while liaising with Enterprise Applications Integrations team.
  • Create, review and participate in functional and regression testing for all system fixes, upgrades, patches, and other maintenance—including bi-annual Workday releases and new system features.
  • Identify and communicate with stakeholders on any changes and their benefits to end users, provide training to business stakeholders / end users as needed.
  • Lead projects as defined by leadership, which includes developing project plans with key milestones and deliverables, leading meetings, providing regular project updates, and adhering to project guidelines and deadlines.
  • Build & load EIBs as needed and utilize Mass Operation Management (MOM) to manage tasks.
  • Ensure HRIS processes are SOX compliant, with on-going review, gap assessment, and remediation.
  • Be well versed with Workday Community and the Feature Releases, preparing for, and implementing new features and enhancements that benefit the organization.
  • Train internal HR Operations team members as needed.
  • Use Jira as an Agile project management tool to track Workday and other system configuration through its lifecycle, including requirements, development, testing, approvals, and deployment.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS
  • 3+ years of Workday experience with Workday Compensation (Core and Advanced) configuration and administration.
  • Workday HCM configuration and support experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft, including Excel formulas and Visio.
  • Analytical and organization skills to work effectively in a detail-oriented environment.
  • Superior interpersonal skills to effectively function in lead roles and work well within a team environment.
  • Must be able to work independently or collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure, cope well with changing priorities and effectively manage multiple projects, which may require flexible work hours and the ability to escalate to management.
  • Very well organized, high attention to detail, with logical problem-solving skills and must be able to maintain the confidentiality of employee information.
  • Experience understanding how all Workday modules work together, specifically, HCM, Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent Management, Recruiting, Onboarding, and Time Tracking.
  • Proven experience and robust knowledge in configuration of Core HCM for US-based organizations.
  • Ability to build relationships with many different areas of the organization to ensure requirements are recognized and understood.
  • Strong accountability and attention to detail.
  • Effective team player with collaborative focus and ability to train/coach others.
