As a Practice Manager – Talent & Performance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping HCLTech's global HR technology transformation agenda. This position is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of enterprise HR programs, ensuring strategic alignment between HR initiatives and business objectives. You will drive the adoption of best-in-class talent and performance management frameworks, oversee multi-country HR technology implementations, and enable organizational transformation through innovation and operational excellence. Your leadership will ensure that HCLTech continues to attract, retain, and develop top talent worldwide.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Define and implement scalable talent management frameworks by developing and refining HR policies, ensuring enterprise-wide consistency and alignment with business goals.
- Lead the design and execution of performance management processes using advanced digital HR platforms to foster employee engagement and organizational growth.
- Guide teams in creating and deploying competency models leveraging analytics and HR information systems, building robust talent pipelines for future leadership needs.
- Oversee and deliver large-scale, multi-workstream HR technology transformation programs, including global rollouts of Core HR, Talent, Payroll, Learning, and Analytics platforms.
- Establish strong program governance structures such as executive steering committees, cadence reviews, and escalation models to ensure project success.
- Manage HR data migration, system integrations, and ensure data security and privacy in compliance with regional labor laws and global standards.
- Spearhead change management and adoption efforts by crafting communication, training, and readiness strategies to drive user acceptance and sustained transformation.
- Own program financials including budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, and contractual obligations, ensuring financial transparency and risk mitigation.
- Identify and proactively manage risks related to payroll, compliance, and data privacy, maintaining high-quality standards across configuration, testing, and post-go-live phases.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that talent and performance strategies align with and propel enterprise strategy.
- Mentor and lead global delivery teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice integration.
Skill Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 15–18+ years of total professional experience, including 7–10+ years in HR Technology Program Leadership.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large, multi-year HR technology transformation programs.
- In-depth expertise across Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Talent Management, and Learning & Development domains.
- Advanced proficiency with leading HR SaaS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, UKG, Legion, or ADP.
- Strong governance capabilities, including RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) management and executive-level communication.
- Deep understanding of Agile, SAFe, or Hybrid delivery methodologies for technology implementations.
- Proven ability to manage global, cross-functional teams and complex stakeholder landscapes.
