HR Manager — Project Site (EPC)

Role Summary

Own HR and labour compliance at the project site — the point of contact for manpower, statutory filings, and workforce welfare from mobilisation to demobilisation.

Key Responsibilities

Manpower & Recruitment

• Execute site-level hiring against the project organogram and timeline
• Coordinate with HO for technical/engineering role closures
• Manage onboarding, ID issuance, and site induction for new joiners

Labour Compliance

• Maintain BOCW, CLRA, and ISMW compliance for direct and contract labour
• Manage labour licences, registrations, and cess filings for the site
• Maintain statutory registers, muster rolls, and wage records — audit-ready at all times
• Verify subcontractor PF/ESIC and wage compliance before RA bill release

Attendance & Payroll Coordination

• Run biometric/GPS attendance tracking for site staff and labour
• Reconcile overtime and site allowance data with HO payroll
• Coordinate wage disbursement and resolve wage-related grievances on site

Welfare & EHS Coordination

• Oversee labour camp standards, accommodation, and hygiene
• Coordinate with EHS on safety induction records, PPE issuance, and accident/ESIC reporting
• Handle grievance redressal and day-to-day employee relations at site

Reporting

• Weekly/monthly manpower and compliance reports to HO
• Flag compliance risks or labour disputes before escalation

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years HR experience, with at least 1–2 years on a live construction/EPC/industrial project site
• Working knowledge of BOCW, CLRA, and site payroll/attendance systems
• Comfortable being based at site, not HO
• Local language proficiency (Marathi) preferred for Nandurbar/Chandrapur postings
