What would you do Improve workforce performance and productivity, boosts business agility, increases revenue and reduces costs Role Summary The LOA Support Associate provides day-to-day administration and coordination of employee leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for employees and managers navigating leave processes, delivering a consistent and empathetic client experience. Design, develop, implement and manage business solutions within Workday s HCM Tracking Library focusing on the talent and performance management data and aspects of an organization.

What are we looking for Key Responsibilities Administer employee leave requests including FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD, state-mandated leaves, and personal/military leaves in accordance with applicable laws and company policy Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on leave-related inquiries, providing clear guidance on entitlements, documentation requirements, and timelines Review and process medical certifications and supporting documentation to determine leave eligibility Maintain accurate and up-to-date leave case records in the HRIS or case management system Coordinate return-to-work processes, including modified duty or accommodation requests in partnership with HR and managers Track and monitor intermittent leave usage and flag patterns or compliance concerns Ensure timely communication to employees throughout all stages of the leave lifecycle Support audits and reporting on leave cases, trends, and compliance metrics Escalate complex or sensitive cases (e.g., ADA accommodations, contested claims) to senior team members or legal as appropriate Stay current on changes to federal and state leave laws affecting US-based employees Qualifications Required 1–3 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or leave of absence management Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of cases simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS or case management tools a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Preferred Experience supporting a US-based client in an outsourced or shared services environment Familiarity with platforms such as Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft, or dedicated LOA tools (e.g., AbsenceSoft, Novu) Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Competencies Client service orientation Attention to detail and accuracy Empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive situations Organizational and time management skills Collaborative team player with ability to work independently
