Role Description This is a full-time, on-site HR-Recruiter role based at Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad. The HR-Recruiter will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, sourcing, screening, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews for academic, administrative, and support positions. The role includes coordinating with department heads to understand workforce needs, drafting accurate job descriptions, and ensuring timely closure of open positions. The HR-Recruiter will maintain candidate databases, manage communication throughout the hiring process, and support onboarding activities such as documentation and orientation. Additional responsibilities include assisting with HR reporting, supporting employer branding initiatives, and ensuring compliance with university policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, and offer management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to use HR and recruitment tools (job portals, professional networks, applicant tracking systems, and MS Office applications).
- Solid organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple vacancies and deadlines efficiently.
- Knowledge of HR policies, basic labor laws, and best practices in hiring within higher education or service-oriented sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in HR is an advantage.
- Prior experience in recruitment, preferably in an educational institution or large organization, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site in Moradabad and collaborate in a diverse, inclusive, and team-oriented environment.
