Job Summary
The HR Recruiter & HR Generalist will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, employee onboarding, HR administration, employee engagement, and supporting the firm's HR processes. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple hiring requirements in a professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Articles, Audit & Tax Executives, Accounts & Compliances Executives, Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountants, Chartered Accountants, and support staff.
- Prepare job descriptions and publish vacancies on job portals, LinkedIn, and social media platforms.
- Source candidates through job portals, employee referrals, campus recruitment, and professional networking.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with Partners and functional heads.
- Conduct reference checks and assist in salary negotiations.
- Prepare offer letters and coordinate joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment databases, candidate pipelines, and hiring reports.
HR Operations
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, and orientation.
- Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.
- Prepare appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, and other HR documents.
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and employee data.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the finance team.
- Ensure timely completion of employee confirmations and probation reviews.
- Support drafting, implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in statutory and labour law compliance related to HR documentation.
- Off boarding of the employees, documentation and relieving formalities.
Employee Engagement & Relations
- Organize employee engagement activities, team events, and celebrations.
- Address employee queries and provide first-level HR support.
- Conduct exit interviews and maintain employee separation records.
- Promote a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Arrange for continuous learning through internal training and development programs.
HR Reporting
- Maintain HR dashboards and recruitment trackers.
- Generate monthly HR reports covering recruitment, attrition, headcount, and onboarding.
- Assist management with HR data and analytics for decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources is preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in Recruitment and HR Generalist functions.
- Experience in recruiting for CA firms, consulting firms, financial services, or professional services organizations will be an advantage.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate interviews with senior professionals and Partners.
- Knowledge of HR documentation and employee lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with basic labour laws and HR compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with HRMS and recruitment portals such as Naukri, Found it, LinkedIn, or Indeed is desirable.
- Good organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
