Purpose And Scope

  • The Project Delivery Specialist is responsible for the establishment and on-going delivery of HR projects across HR Operations and broader HR. It plays a key role in delivering HR initiatives which will increase efficiency, reduce costs and thus contribute significantly to meeting overall business objectives. The role will also be accountable for the provision of professional project management expertise to support complex HR programs or change initiatives with a significant people or HR process dimension
  • The role will be part of a pool of project management resources dedicated to drive the delivery of such projects supporting HR Operations and other HR functions including HRBP's and CoEs
  • The role will report to the Global HR Projects Delivery Team Lead and will work closely with other HR Operations teams, across the broader HR function and directly with the business

Role & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for providing project management support for a variety of HR projects across HR Operations and broader HR teams
  • Accountable for ensuring governance of HR projects is implemented effectively, including reporting standards for steering committee, executive and board meetings
  • Accountable for communications relating to HR Projects – collaborating with members of the HR function through the use of common HR communication plans and activities

Key Deliverables

Project Management

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned HR projects, from initiation through to closure, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, and benefits are met.
  • Apply standard project management practices and agile ways of working appropriate to the scale and complexity of the project
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned, best practices, and delivery insights across the HR project community.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths, adjusting dynamically in response to changing business needs.
  • Ensure clear definition and ownership of project scope, success criteria, and deliverables in partnership with HR and business stakeholders.
  • Establish and operate fit-for-purpose project governance, including decision-making structures, escalation routes, and status reporting aligned to HR and enterprise governance standards.
  • Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks, issues, and interdependencies, driving timely mitigation and resolution.
  • Track delivery against agreed timeline, budget, and benefits, providing transparent progress updates and insight-based reporting to stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute change management and communication activities to support adoption, business readiness, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops, reviews, and decision sessions to drive clarity, alignment, and timely decision-making.
  • Define and manage business readiness, acceptance, and go‑live criteria, ensuring solutions are deployable and supported.
  • Ensure project outputs meet agreed quality standards, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support benefits realization, post‑implementation reviews, and transition to BAU ownership

  • Apply standard project management practices and agile ways of working appropriate to the scale and complexity of the project.
  • Use data and insight to inform project decisions, track progress, and provide meaningful, action‑oriented updates to stakeholders.
  • Act as a single point of delivery accountability for assigned initiatives, coordinating inputs from multiple contributors and teams.
  • Collaborate with Continuous Improvement and operational teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience through project outcomes.
  • Continually reflect on delivery approach and incorporate lessons learned to improve future project execution.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years HR Project Management Experience
  • Project Management Qualification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Tools and Techniques
  • Solid experience with demonstrated results in the development and implementation of a range of continuous improvement projects, including both technology and process
  • Well versed in KPIs and data
  • Extensive HR process and transaction experience
  • Knowledge of HR metrics and their applicability
  • Experience with HRIS applications and complementary HR software solutions
