We are looking for a Program Manager to drive a workstream to deliver superior employee experience. This role will span across multiple business lines in tech and non tech teams in India working with several global and central teams for cross functional initiatives and strategic priorities. The operational objectives and programs delivered by this role enable Amazon to deliver on the goal of being Earth's Best Employer, while delivering key operational objectives. This role will be responsible for end-to-end program management of multiple cross-functional PXT initiatives, partnering with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence (COEs), and business leaders to deliver high-impact people programs that are strategically aligned with Amazon India's growth agenda.

Key job responsibilities
The Program Manager will adopt a business-first mindset, developing initiatives, strategies, and programs that are the most impactful, whilst understanding and anticipating the implications programs or initiatives can have on the organizations they support. This is a high-visibility role requiring the ability to operate across multiple business lines, geographies within India, and PXT sub-functions to deliver at scale.
. Own and drive the end-to-end program management of large-scale PXT interventions across India, including talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives
. Partner with multiple business, COE, HRBPs and PXT leadership to identify, scope, and develop program management plans for India-wide strategic priorities
. Translate complex organizational challenges into actionable programs that deliver measurable business impact
. Develop and maintain India PXT program roadmaps aligned with global and regional PXT strategies
. Lead cross-functional projects requiring collaboration and partnership across Amazon India businesses, geographical units, and PXT subject matter experts
. Identify opportunities to scale successful programs across India and contribute to broader APAC/Global PXT initiatives
. Surface opportunities and provide recommendations to improve organizational efficiency through data analysis (attrition, retention, diversity, engagement, talent metrics)
. Contribute to writing documents for stakeholder reviews (QBRs, OBRs, talent reviews, OP planning)
. Build reporting mechanisms and dashboards to provide visibility on program health and impact

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of program or project management experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience delivering cross functional projects
- Experience partnering with business leaders in highly complex and dynamic business settings
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience in stakeholder management and communication management
- Experience in written and spoken English and an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses
- . MBA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in building and managing programs
- Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
- Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting
