About The Role

The HR Operations Specialist will play a key role in shaping a positive employee experience by overseeing a variety of HR initiatives. This position involves supporting and enhancing HR functions, ensuring that company policies are effectively implemented, and providing employees with the guidance and support they need throughout their journey. By collaborating across teams, the HR Operations Specialist will help create a smooth, efficient, and engaging workplace where everyone feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Lifecycle Management

  • Support day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities.
  • Assist in the execution of end-to-end onboarding and induction for new employees.
  • Coordinate offboarding, including resignations, full & final settlements, and system deactivation.

Attendance, Payroll & Compliance

  • Track and manage attendance records and leave data.
  • Prepare inputs for payroll processing and ensure statutory compliance in coordination with finance/payroll team.
  • Support audits and ensure HR documentation aligns with labor laws and internal policies.

Learning & Development / Growth Path

  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating internal/external learning sessions.
  • Maintain individual development plans and growth path tracking for employees.
  • Help manage feedback collection and post-training effectiveness evaluations.

Policy & Process Management

  • Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies across departments.

Employee Record Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records both in digital formats.
  • Manage HRMS data and employee documentation (e.g., offer letters, contracts, ID proof, etc.).

Skills Required

  • HR Systems and Technology Proficiency: Expertise in HR software, including HRIS, payroll, and performance management tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Managing sensitive data, legal compliance, and employee benefits with precision.
  • Compliance and Legal Knowledge: Ensuring adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies for legal compliance.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Effective communication skills for resolving employee concerns and clarifying HR policies.
  • Training and Development: Identifying skill gaps and coordinating training programs to support employee growth and development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 13 years of experience in HR operations or a similar HR support role.
  • Working knowledge of HR processes, labor law basics, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS/HRMS is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.
