Function Introduction:
- HR is a strategic function that facilitates effective people management practices.

Job Purpose:
- Co-create an inclusive performance culture and partner with business at sourcing units.
- Implement the Unit HR Strategy aligned with company HR, ER, and SC strategies.
- Own capability interventions to support business transformation while maintaining cordial industrial relations and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnering:
- Assist in executing HR Strategy for the Unit.
- Ensure application of all Unilever policies and governance requirements at Supply Units.
Manpower Planning & Recruitment:
- Ensure manpower availability of 100% permanent and contract labor.
- Track and control unauthorized absenteeism.
- Assist UHRM in designing support systems: succession plans, mentoring, coaching, induction programs.
- Maintain recruitment data bank and facilitate recruitment, induction, and deployment of temporary workmen.
- Monitor performance of new recruits and organize induction training.
- Coordinate appraisal reports for trainees, probationers, and confirmed employees.
Cultural Development, Change & Communication:
- Assist in action planning and driving transformation initiatives (UMS, Future of Work).
- Promote inclusion and representation of PwDs, women, LGBTQ+ on the shop floor.
- Execute initiatives for site integration and collaborative work along the supply chain.
- Facilitate communication forums, team briefings, newsletters, and connectivity with employees.
Learning Management:
- Facilitate skill mix transformation through upskilling & reskilling agenda.
- Develop and execute annual training calendar aligned with business needs.
- Prepare job rotation plans, maintain learning data, resources, and coordinate with internal/external facilitators.
- Operate evaluation systems, analyze feedback, and plan improvements.
- Retain key talent through capability building and career progression planning.
Performance Improvement & Management:
- Monitor PDP system for executives and workers.
- Ensure compliance to quality, processes, and timings.
- Facilitate performance reviews for blue-collar population.
- Manage employee exits and performance counseling.
Employee Relations & Public Relations:
- Maintain harmonious, productive, and progressive employee relations.
- Execute collective bargaining and wage negotiations.
- Resolve conflicts among workmen and establish relationships with government and political bodies.
CSR Projects:
- Ensure execution of programs to develop sustainable ecosystems and communities at site level.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in HR.
- Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Personnel Management / Human Resource Management.
