The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting this growth by driving strategic recruitment, fostering employee development, and strengthening people management processes. Role & Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end hiring process (requisition, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and offer) and oversee new-employee orientation and onboarding programs. Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and maintain up-to-date job descriptions.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and design/implement employee development programs. Establish training calendars, coordinate induction sessions, and deliver workshops to build workforce skills and capabilities.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the HR & Training team (HR coordinators, recruiters, trainers), setting goals and providing coaching to ensure high performance and alignment with business objectives. Delegate tasks effectively and foster a supportive work environment.
- HR Administration & Systems: Maintain HR information systems and employee records (e.g., HRIS/ATS for recruitment, attendance, payroll). Ensure timely coordination with Payroll and Finance for statutory contributions. Oversee compliance with all labour laws and internal policies, implementing changes as needed.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR issues. Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and investigate grievances, ensuring fair resolution. Organize engagement initiatives (team-building events, recognition programs, CSR activities) to maintain a positive culture.
- Performance & Policy: Support performance management by administering appraisal processes and coaching managers on feedback. Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies (employee handbook, code of conduct, leave policy) in line with legal requirements and company strategy.
Qualifications:
A. Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years of HR experience in mid-to-large organizations, with demonstrable success in recruitment and end-to-end hiring.
- Preferred: Experience in managing an HR or training team, including coordinating with business stakeholders.
B. Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Professional HR certifications are a plus.
C. Desired Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven leadership and organizational abilities.
- Detail-oriented, resourceful, and adept at problem-solving. High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with HRIS and talent acquisition platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar). Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analytics.
- Prior exposure to the logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain sector is advantageous.
- Skilled in creating training content and e-learning modules. Certification in L&D or talent development is a bonus.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while managing multiple projects concurrently.
