We are looking for an experienced & dynamic self starter HR leader who can lead the site's HR Operations for our O&M Vertical at Adani Vizhinjam Port.
A. ROLE PURPOSE
Lead the full HR & Admin function at the Vizhinjam Port O&M project.
Owner of recruitment, payroll, attendance, compliance, client coordination, billing data, pass management, and HR operations.
B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Maintain required manpower strength across shifts
Recruitment for all levels: labour, operators, technicians, supervisors, engineers, managers
Salary negotiation, onboarding, documentation, ID cards, PPE, joining kits
Vendor coordination for contract manpower
2. Attendance, Payroll & Compliance
Biometric attendance, muster roll, overtime approvals
Payroll via HRMS/payroll software
PF, ESIC, welfare, labour licenses, statutory filings
Vendor compliance & audit readiness
Salary appraisals, performance records & confirmations
3. Port Pass, Kronos & Documentation
Manage port entry passes, renewals & approvals
Kronos data entry, database updates, and MIS
Handling of ID cards, police verification, medicals
Maintain all records for audits & client checks
4. Billing & Finance Coordination
Create monthly billing sheets based on attendance, OT & deployment
Submit documentation for invoice approval
Coordinate with finance for payment follow-ups
Maintain receivables MIS
5. Client Coordination & Site Representation
Single point HR contact for port officials
Attend review meetings, handle HR-related queries
Strong documentation & reporting discipline
Maintain a professional, presentable image
6. General HR Operations
Grievance handling, discipline, counselling
Training & safety compliance
Employee welfare & engagement
Small HR/Admin team management (02 members)
C. CANDIDATE PROFILE
1015+ years in HR operations
Must have managed large contract manpower (200+)
O&M / port / terminal / logistics / EPC / industrial / manufacturing experience
Advanced Excel + HRMS/hardware proficiency (biometric, HRIS, payroll, Kronos)
Fluent in English + Malayalam
High ownership, accurate documentation, and client-facing confidence
Able to work independently without a large support team
