Human Resources (HR) Executive manages daily HR operations, acting as a link between employees and management, handling recruitment, onboarding, payroll, engagement, policy implementation, and ensuring legal compliance, while also supporting strategic talent management, performance, and a positive work culture, often focusing on operational tasks but with input on strategy. Key duties include hiring, training, benefits administration, employee relations, policy enforcement, and maintaining records, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding: Sourcing, interviewing, hiring, background checks, and managing new hire orientation.Employee Relations: Addressing grievances, managing conflicts, disciplinary actions, and fostering a positive environment.Policy & Compliance: Implementing, updating, and ensuring adherence to HR policies and labor laws.Performance Management: Assisting with appraisals, goal setting, and development plans.Compensation & Benefits: Administering payroll, benefits (insurance, leave), and salary structures.HR Administration: Maintaining employee records, attendance, and managing HR software.Strategic Support: Participating in talent planning and strategic HR initiatives. Essential Skills & QualificationsSkills: Communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, analytical, interpersonal, knowledge of labor laws, HR software proficiency.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in HR or Business; certifications or postgraduate degrees are beneficial. Role DistinctionExecutive vs. Manager: Executives focus more on operational execution (hiring, payroll), while Managers handle broader strategy, policy-making, and team leadership.
