Role Overview
Aura Interact is looking for an HR Manager (Generalist) to own and drive the end-to-end HR function. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced tech startup, setting up processes, and closely partnering with founders and business leaders.
Experience required:24 years in an HR generalist role with a Tech/IT company (preferably in Ahmedabad).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for technical, creative and support roles (sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordination, offers).
- Own onboarding and induction to ensure a smooth new-joiner experience.
- Design, implement and manage Performance Management System (PMS).
- Oversee HRMS implementation, HR digital transformation initiatives and HR data management.
- Manage payroll inputs, statutory compliance and coordination with finance/payroll partners.
- Draft and update HR policies, processes and employee documentation.
- Drive employee engagement, culture-building activities and internal communications.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievance handling and conflict resolution.
- Support leadership with HR analytics, dashboards and periodic reporting.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of core HR processes in a Tech/IT environment.
- Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Practical understanding of payroll, statutory compliance and HR documentation.
- Familiarity with HRMS tools and digital HR initiatives.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people skills.
- High ownership, integrity, confidentiality and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup culture.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Postgraduate in HR / Business Administration or related field.
- 24 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist / HR Executive / HR Manager in a Tech/IT company.
