Job Description

This role is on-site in Bangalore, India.

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of human resources, including payroll and statutory compliance management, strategic partnerships, compensation and performance management, talent acquisition, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management, a strong understanding of global HR practices, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a comprehensive knowledge of HR principles and best practices.

  • Expertise in organization design, change management, employee relations, compensation, and training and development
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to payroll and statutory compliance management
  • Proactive involvement in team initiatives, coaching managers and employees on employee relations matters
  • Keen intuition to identify employee morale trends and provide actionable recommendations
  • Champion of process improvement, sharing best practices and analyzing employment practices
  • Strong talent acquisition skills, managing end-to-end recruitment and fostering collaboration
  • Experienced in managing and mentoring HR and Talent Partner teams
  • Proficient in Workday and other HRIS systems, leveraging technology for streamlined processes

a Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

Payroll and Statutory Compliance Management:

  • Leading the payroll policies, ensuring timely and efficient policies and processes.
  • Ensure complete adherence to Statutory Laws, timely payments, and returns.
  • Comply with country specific local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislative changes; enforcing adherence to requirements and implementing needed actions
  • Assist management to assist and manage vendor relationships
  • Participate and assist with all statutory and audit processes

Strategic Partnership:

  • Responsible for implementing HR strategies, processes and systems across multiple geographies & business practices
  • Seek opportunities to contribute to business success through proactive involvement in team initiatives
  • Coach managers and employees on employee relations matters including employee concerns, performance, training and development, career growth, etc.
  • Keep a pulse on employee morale bringing trends/issues and recommendations to the U.S. HR leadership team
  • Identify process improvement possibilities and participate in improvement efforts, sharing best practices and ideas / principles with the leadership team in Fox Bangalore and HR leadership in the U.S.
  • Analyze employment practices (e.g., turnover, onboarding, engagement, etc.) prepare trend reports; analyze surveys, and develop recommendations for the practice

Compensation & Performance Management:

  • Assist HR leadership team with compensation benchmarking
  • Assist with managing the performance review cycle including providing feedback and coaching to the local leadership team.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the end to end recruitment process in partnership with the HR and Talent Partner.
  • Partner with the US Talent Acquisition team on process improvements and collaboration
  • Manage the Apprenticeship program

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or Organization Development (Master's degree preferred)
  • HR certification showcasing commitment to professional growth and industry expertise
