We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated HR Manager to join our dynamic team at a 22-year-old jewellery company in India. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing our human resources functions, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent in the jewellery sector.
- Oversee employee onboarding and training programs to ensure a smooth integration.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment and culture to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Manage and improve employee relations, addressing grievances and resolving disputes effectively.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8-15 years of experience in HR management, preferably in the retail or jewellery industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
- Experience with HR software and databases, including payroll and applicant tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address employee issues and improve HR processes.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices in India.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR policies and programs.
