Position: HR Manager - (Architecture & Interior Fit-Out)
Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:
The HR Manager will be responsible for designing and executing HR strategies that support organizational goals. This role oversees end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, payroll, compliance, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on HR operations experience, preferably from the Design & Build, Interior Fit-Outs, Construction, or Real Estate industry.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Strategy & Workforce Planning:
Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and best practices aligned with business objectives.
Lead manpower planning and ensure timely hiring of skilled and qualified professionals.
Drive organizational development initiatives, including succession planning and talent pipelines.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate and site-based roles.
Create and execute effective hiring strategies for key and leadership positions.
Oversee structured onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
Address employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters in compliance with labor laws.
Conduct employee engagement and satisfaction surveys and implement improvement initiatives.
Performance Management & Training:
Design and manage performance management frameworks using KPIs and OKRs.
Lead periodic performance appraisals and feedback cycles.
Identify training needs and implement learning and development programs to enhance employee capabilities.
Compensation & Benefits Management:
Oversee payroll processing, salary structures, and incentive programs.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, etc.).
Manage employee benefits, insurance programs, and wellness initiatives.
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws and statutory regulations.
Manage HR audits, legal compliance, and policy updates.
Maintain accurate HR documentation and employee records through HRMS systems.
HR Operations & Reporting:
Track and analyze HR metrics including recruitment, attrition, and performance data.
Prepare and present monthly HR reports to management.
Implement HR automation initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop retention strategies and monitor workforce productivity.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: MBA (HR) / PGDHRM / Equivalent qualification
Experience: 8-15 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
Industry Preference: Design & Build, Construction, Interior Fit-Outs, Real Estate
Software & Tools Knowledge:
HRMS & Payroll: SAP HR, Zoho People, Keka, GreytHR
Recruitment Platforms: LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, ATS systems
Performance Management: KPI & OKR tracking tools
Engagement & Surveys: Culture Amp, SurveyMonkey
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong HR strategy and workforce planning expertise
Proven experience in talent acquisition and performance management
