EB1A Experts/Silicon Path Law is a boutique immigration law firm serving individuals, families, and businesses at every stage of the U.S. immigration process. From work visas and green cards to family sponsorships and corporate immigration programs, we provide strategic, tailored legal services.

We are immigration attorneys with deep expertise in tech talent immigration: EB1A extraordinary ability green cards, O1A work visas, EB-2 NIW self-petitions, H-1B sponsorships, and more.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who is genuinely curious, eager to learn, and comfortable thinking on their feet. This is not a checkbox-style HR role — it sits at the intersection of payroll operations, multi-state tax compliance, and HR administration, and it supports two US entities: EB-1A Experts LLC and Siliconpath Law / PLLC.

The right person does not need to know everything on day one. What matters most is that they are proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy figuring things out rather than waiting to be told. They will have a US-based HR counterpart to work alongside, and can draw on support from our India team as well.

What This Person Will Be Doing

Payroll & Employee Lifecycle

•   Keeping payroll accurate and running smoothly across both entities

•   Onboarding new employees into the payroll system and managing their full lifecycle

•   Tracking payroll tax obligations and related deadlines across multiple states

Multi-State Hiring Compliance

When we hire someone in a new state, there are registrations that need to happen — state unemployment insurance, withholding accounts, new hire reporting, and sometimes local taxes. This person would own that process: figuring out what is needed, completing the registrations, and keeping a record of what has been set up where.

Business Tax & Accounting Coordination

•   Staying on top of business tax timelines and working closely with the accounting team

•   Making sure handoffs between HR and accounting do not fall through the cracks

HR Compliance Consulting

We work with external HR compliance consultants and take their guidance seriously. This person would join those conversations, capture recommendations, and make sure action items get implemented.

Immigration Support Coordination

We are a law firm with an in-house immigration team. When we hire employees on work visas, this person would coordinate with them on the HR side — tracking work authorization timelines, flagging renewals early, and making sure nothing slips.
